The production process consists of 2 sub-processes.

1. Continous Melt Polycondensation
In this process amorphous PET chips are produced from the two main raw materials purified terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol

2: Solid State Polycondensation
In the subsequent solid state polycondensation, the chips undergo a high-temperature treatment. The product becomes cristalline and the desired IV is established.

Each sub-process exists in duplicate. This provides high flexibility in the availability of different product types
